Event: Teʻu le Roots & Routes at Fale Maota

Teʻu le Roots & Routes was held on 16 February 2023 in connection with Oceanic Architectural Routes, an Objectspace exhibition. Curator Albert L. Refiti and friends responded to Mike Austin’s images in the exhibition. Through an emerging Vā Moana project, Logo i Pūlotu, the musical collective have been experimenting with listening, feeling, and sensing one another during sonic talanoa. This immersive experience, presented in collaboration with Samoa House Library, was held in the Fale Maota located inside the Samoa House building on Karangahape Road.
