Vā Moana Reading Group April 2021

Kia ora koutou,

We are pleased to invite you to the first Vā Moana Reading Group for the year. You might be wondering about the 'we' – Lana has passed the Reading Group on to us, Emily and Arielle. We look forward to proper introductions when we meet. We also want to acknowledge Lana for all her work with the Reading Group and congratulate her on submitting her PhD thesis!

Over the last months of 2020 we were reading McKenzie Wark's Capital is Dead: Is This Something Worse? alongside Simon Barber's 'Māori Marx: Some Provisional Materials' and a video on Deleuze.

In April we will wrap up Wark's book and discuss texts relating to economies and ecosystems:
